We’re made some cards celebrating Bristol!
We have fun since we launched our Bristol poster during the Art on the Hill arts trail, that we decided we would make the illustration into some Bristol greetings cards and postcards (also Emma-Jane quite likes greeting cards and wanted one 🙂 ). While we have used the Bristol poster as the base, there is also a new composition in the same style. There is now Bristol in the summer time, and Bristol in the winter time. Hopefully each captures the mood and energy of the season and time of the year.
There are 2 Bristol greeting cards. One celebrating summer and the other celebrating winter in Bristol. Included are, the lovely parks around Bristol, the hot air balloons, Cabot Tower, world famous Clifton Suspension Bridge, the wonderful colourful houses around the city (these are based on Totterdown and Clifton Wood), the beauty of Banksy’s Paint-Pot Angel, the Wills Memorial building, Alfred the Gorilla (sporting a lovely scarf for winter), the M Shed cranes, Temple Meads train station, Queens Square with its statue of William III, St Mary’s Radcliffe Church, the fanatical SS Great Britain, even popular cycling across the city in the summer, the Matthew and one of the best ways to spend a sunny day – drinking cider along the river watching the Swans (a bit to cold in the winter for this).
A6 in size, printed on 350gsm card stock, blank inside with a white envelope. The winter ones are prefect for Christmas or any occasion really.
As with the Bristol greetings cards, there is a summer and a winter postcard celebrating Bristol. These include the same things like the greetings cards – hot air balloons, Cabot Tower, Clifton Suspension Bridge, the Wills Memorial building, the M Shed cranes, Temple Meads train station, Queens Square, St Mary’s Radcliffe Church, SS Great Britain, cycling, the Matthew to made a few.
A6 in size, printed on 350gsm card stock. Share a special memory of the city with someone.
